SEMI-SILENT AUCTION

For the last few years, we have been conducting what we like to refer to as our “semi-silent” auction.  We have realized over the years that some people have differing feelings on a live auction setting and may be hesitant to bid.  We took the silent auction that many may be familiar with and added a little flare.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
It starts off like any silent auction, items are
tagged with a bidding sheet and numbered
Each item is given an opening bid amount
Bid increments are listed on the bidding sheets           by price range (you must adhere to the
        increments)
By tables/rows we begin to close lots – No
        more written bids

NOW FOR THE FLARE!!
When an item has multiple bids on the sheet,
those bidders (and only those bidders) may
enter into live bidding until a winner is found!

We feel this adds a nice little excitement at the end.  Try it out and experience it for yourself!
